Tiers describe distance from a past cutoff. They are not probabilities, and no tool can produce a real admission probability before counselling begins.
It is exact about the past and uncertain about the future: it tells you precisely where your percentile sits against previously published closing cutoffs. What it cannot know is this year's applicant pool or seat matrix, so treat the output as a shortlist to act on, not a forecast.
Because branch and category matter. Your percentile may clear the college's overall cutoff while sitting below the closing figure for the specific branch and category combination you selected.
It covers seats filled through published cutoffs. Institute-level and management quota seats are not allocated on a published closing percentile, so they cannot be predicted this way — those are worth a direct conversation with the college.
College records — fees, courses, accreditation, placement and cutoff figures — come from CollegePune's own published database and are revised as institutes release new information. Always confirm the final figure against the college's official admission notice before you pay anything, because institutes can revise fees mid-cycle.
