Introduction
SNAP Exam 2026 (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is the MBA entrance test conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University), or SIU, for admission to selected MBA programmes at participating Symbiosis institutes for the 2027–28 academic year.
It is a 60-minute computer-based test with 60 questions across four sections, including a new Ethics, Morality and Values section. You can take up to three tests, and your highest score is considered. Registration closes on 25 November 2026, the tests are on 13, 19 and 26 December 2026, and results come out on 12 January 2027.

Official mock test: SIU will hold a SNAP 2026 mock test on 24 September 2026 for applicants who pay for SNAP by 11:59 PM on 22 September 2026.
SNAP Registration 2026: Process and Fees
The SNAP 2026 application form is filled online on the official registration page. There are two separate registrations:
- SNAP test registration: lets you take the test on one, two or three dates.
- Programme registration: applies you to a specific MBA programme at a specific institute.
Paying only the test fee does not apply you to any programme.
SNAP 2026 Registration Last Date
The last date to register and pay the SNAP 2026 test fee is 25 November 2026 (Wednesday). Programme registration fees must be paid before the closing date set for each programme.
How to Register for SNAP 2026
- Start online registration on snaptest.org and enter your personal and academic details.
- Verify the OTP sent to your mobile and email, then log in with the SNAP ID and password you receive.
- Select one, two or three tests and pay the test fee for each.
- Register for your chosen programme(s) and pay the programme fee for each, by that programme's deadline.
- Download your admit card and appear for SNAP.
Tips: Keep a recent colour passport-size photo (not more than six months old) ready. SIU states that no changes are permitted after registration. SIU also states that the earlier you pay and complete registration, the higher your chances of getting the test date and test city of your choice.

Example: Three tests cost ₹2,550 × 3 = ₹7,650 plus taxes, with programme fees added on top.
Both fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, including if you apply to a programme you are not eligible for. Payment can be made through the Billdesk or Easebuzz payment gateway, or by a Demand Draft of ₹2,550 per test (plus applicable taxes) from any nationalised bank, in favour of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat", payable at Pune. The DD must reach the Symbiosis Test Secretariat by 3:00 PM on 25 November 2026.
The official fee details do not mention any category-wise fee concession. The SC/ST relaxation listed on the portal is in eligibility marks (45% instead of 50%).
SNAP Admit Card 2026
Admit cards are released separately for each test, so download one for every test you registered for.

Log in to snaptest.org, download and print the admit card, and check your name, photograph, test date, reporting time, centre address and instructions. If anything is wrong, contact the SNAP helpdesk (9071011959 or 020-61936226/227, info@snaptest.org) immediately. On test day, follow the instructions printed on your admit card.
SNAP Eligibility 2026
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or Institution of National Importance with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade (45% for SC/ST). Some programmes have additional requirements. See the official SNAP eligibility page for full details.
Can Final-Year Students Apply for SNAP 2026?
The published eligibility is framed for graduates. Final-year students should confirm with the official SNAP FAQs, their programme's admission rules or the SNAP helpdesk before paying, since fees are non-refundable.

Raw score example: 40 correct and 8 wrong answers, with 12 left blank, gives (40 × 1) − (8 × 0.25) = 38 out of 60.
SNAP 2026: What Has Changed From the Previous Pattern?
The main change is the new Ethics, Morality and Values section. Compared with the previous three-section pattern, General English and Analytical & Logical Reasoning now have fewer questions, while total questions, marks and duration are unchanged.

SNAP Syllabus 2026: Section-wise Topics

Reasoning and Quant together carry 40 of the 60 marks, so give them a large share of practice time.

The same raw score will not always give the same percentile, because the percentile depends on how all candidates perform.
Normalization: There is no normalization of scores; your higher score is used for the final percentile. SIU also states that the question papers are "normalised for the level of difficulty across all three tests".

The SNAP 2026 result will be announced on 12 January 2027 on snaptest.org. Log in with your SNAP credentials to see your scorecard and percentile. Institutes then release shortlists for their selection rounds.

SIBM Pune and SIMS Pune Are Different Institutes
SIBM Pune (Symbiosis Institute of Business Management) and SIMS Pune (Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies) are separate institutes with separate programmes, fees, selection processes and merit lists. SIMS is not a campus or branch of SIBM. The same applies to every institute listed above: a shortlist or admission at one does not carry over to another.

SNAP vs CAT vs NMAT vs XAT
SNAP and NMAT are often confused. SNAP is conducted by SIU for Symbiosis programmes. NMAT is a separate test conducted by GMAC. NMIMS is a deemed-to-be university whose management school accepts NMAT scores. NMAT is a test; NMIMS is an institution.
